Ingredients for 4

  • 3 potatoes for frying (approximately 300 g) (e.g., Rooster potatoes)
  • ½ head of red cabbage (around 300 g)
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic, crushed
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Handful of flat parsley
  • 20 g sour cream, to serve
  • Salt and pepper (seasoning)

Preparation time: 30 MIN Cooking time: 15 MIN
  1. Peel and grate the potatoes. Allow them to drain in a colander for at least 20 minutes.
  2. Chop the onions and red cabbage and flat parsley. Peel and crush the garlic.
  3. Mix together the eggs, flour, and seasoning. Add the grated potatoes, cabbage, onion, and flat parsley and mix together.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. Add spoonsful of the mixture to the frying pan. Cook for 4 minutes on each side. Continue until all the mixture is used.
  5. Serve with sour cream.


A recipe that appeals to children and adults alike, that can be adjusted using carrots, courgettes, etc. depending on the season.
